We had the BEST experience with Ansar car rental! The price of our 2024 4x4 vehicle included insurance. No hassle what so ever. Ansar was so much less than ANY of the top recommended rental companies. Diego who speaks great English was an excellent communicator from the beginning to our return. They met us at our hotel and also dropped us off afterwards. Don’t waste your time with any of the others go with Ansar for a smooth and easy transaction and clean new cars! Unusually fast and simple. I liked that they didn’t charge a deposit, which in the past has sometimes triggered an alert on my credit card and complicated the rental process. Unlike many other places I’ve rented from, there were no hidden fees or pressure to buy extra insurance. As an added courtesy, the driver picked me up from my hostel (a few blocks away from the agency) and dropped me off at the airport.

J'ai fait beaucoup de recherche avant d'arrêter mon choix sur cette compagnie de location. N'étant jamais aller au Costa Rica et ayant entendu certaines tristes histoires de location, surtout des charges de frais cachés. Notre contact a été Mary, très gentille, la prise de possession de l'auto a pris moins de 15 minutes et ça a pris moins de 5 minutes rapporter l'auto. Nous avons éte très prudent, les routes ne sont pas toujours amicales! Je recommande 100%. Nous avons louer un 4x4 pendant 14 jours, propre et confortable! Que Dieu vous bénisses!

They are very professional, and they make the process very smooth. We communicated over WhatsApp before arriving and they were able to tell us daily rates and reserve us a vehicle . They offered to pick us up at the airport and drop off on the way back. We did not have to leave a deposit and the insurance cost was included in the daily rate. No hidden fees at all. We enjoyed doing business with them and will be coming back when we return to Costa Rica!

Fantastic customer service! One of the most seamless pick up and drop off experiences I have had. Walter and Diego were incredibly kind, friendly, and trust worthy. There were no surprise charges or hidden fees or quirky regulations.

I also got pulled over by the police for an absurd reason, called Walter, and he talked to the officer on my behalf and got me out of a ticket 😂
